It's in my blood.
Since I was given my first camera, when I was a little kid, I have always been fascinated by capturing in a shot what my eyes were seeing around me. The beauty of nature or the smile of a friend, an event or an emotion... Precious pearls to be framed in a photo. Whether freezing a movement or moving the stillness, looking at normality through a different angle or portraying the exceptional, I can choose different perspectives, I can catch reality. I think this passion is in my blood, I inherited it from my Grandpa and then from my Dad, and it has always had a great influence in my life. Come and follow me in my journey searching impressions of life.

A Brief Encounter

Though the main purpose of this trip was to see and shoot the Black Grouse courtship activities during the peak of the mating season, the Swedish forest gave us the opportunity for a brief encounter with a nice little owl.
The Boreal Owl (Aegolius funereus), also known as Tengmalm's Owl, it is said to be very shy and elusive, so difficult to study and apparently not as much is known of this species, vs the other owls.

Our chance to take a picture lasted just a few seconds, the time the owl popped out of the hole in the tree to check who was out there. Not much light at that moment so the photo is a little grainy, but still I am happy to have been able to shoot this nice nocturnal bird.
