It's in my blood.
Since I was given my first camera, when I was a little kid, I have always been fascinated by capturing in a shot what my eyes were seeing around me. The beauty of nature or the smile of a friend, an event or an emotion... Precious pearls to be framed in a photo. Whether freezing a movement or moving the stillness, looking at normality through a different angle or portraying the exceptional, I can choose different perspectives, I can catch reality. I think this passion is in my blood, I inherited it from my Grandpa and then from my Dad, and it has always had a great influence in my life. Come and follow me in my journey searching impressions of life.

Light and Colors

Spring is definitely here and finally Nature is waking up after the winter sleep. Temperature is mild and taking a walk in the park is very pleasant, with colors and flowers everywhere.

Natural beauties surround me and my camera is the perfect "tool" to reveal even the littlest things that often remain unseen or unnoticed by many. And it's too important to stop and look at what is around us, to appreciate what the Lord has given us and to thank Him for being able to witness such wonderful creation.

Light and colors play together to make Nature even more beautiful and I can't resist to try and grasp at least a little glimpse of that beauty...

Back Lit

Every time I see a butterfly I can't avoid stopping to look at such beautiful insects. Their colors and the shapes of their wings make every species unique and amazing. They are perfect subjects for pictures and I am happy every time I can get a shot of one of them. In this case the butterfly was on a leaf of a plant that was higher than where I was: I positioned myself so that the light would come from behind and create this wonderful back-lit/transparency effect, highlighting the colors and the design of the wings.
